UCT Prague – Welcome Office
The Welcome Office staff is here for the UCT researchers to assist them with the administrative matters connected to residence permits, relocation to the Czech Republic and concluding an employment contract in the Czech Republic.
We provide assistance with the obligations our foreign employees have towards the Czech authorities – residence permit extensions, reporting changes to the Ministry of the Interior, advice regarding health insurance etc.

Our office is in UCT building B, room BS10 – down a few stairs from the building’s reception. For personal consultation it is best to arrange a time in advance.
Our welcome office is one of the 15 regional contact points of the EURAXESS Czech Republic network. The EURAXESS Czech Republic network is part of the European Network of Services Centers (EURAXESS), which was officially launched on 30 June 2004 in Paris. This network involves 43 European hubs with more than 610 associated service centers.
