If you are a student and you wish to be a holder of a residence permit with a purpose of scientific research, please make sure that:
- You have completed your university studies at least in master's degree (Mgr., Ing. MSc.).
- You have an employment contract in the field of research activities (vědecký výzkum) and the form must be "Employment Relationship" (not agreements on work performed outside the employment relationship - "DPP", "DPČ"
- You must have a valid residence permit in the Czech Republic
Then, please, contact your UCT Mobility Coordinator to schedule an appointment.
For the Ministry of the Interior, you will need to provide the following documents:
- Green application form - needs to be printed out in color, filled up in Czech language; in the upper part please tick long term residence permit – povolení k dlouhodobému pobytu, in Nr. 15 write VEDECKY VYZKUM; you do not need to translate the names and employers. Please sign it.
- Hosting agreement (signed by you and the rector), the UCT Mobility Coordinator will provide it to you
- Commitment (signed by you and the rector), the UCT Mobility Coordinator will provide it to you
- Accommodation contract – original; in Czech language.
- Passport
- 1 passport size picture (3.5 x 4.5 cm)
- KOLEK (revenue stamps) in the amount of 2 500 CZK - stick it to the green application form under point 33
You will handle these documents to your UCT Mobility Coordinator who will schedule an appointment for you at the Ministry of the Interior.
Your presence is a must! For the change of the purpose of your stay you have to apply in person. The MOI has 60 days to make a decision on your application.
