University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland

University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland collaborates with our Faculty of Chemical Technology (FCT), Faculty of Food and Biochemical Technology (FFBT) and Faculty of Environmental Technology (FET), where you will also be registered as a DD student. Here you can read the details related to the DD program.

  • Length of study (ECTS credits): 2 years = 4 semesters (120 ECTS credits)
  • Period studied at UCT Prague: 3rd and 4th semester (60 ECTS credits)

Number of ECTS credits acquired when starting at UCT Prague: 240 ECTS credits (180 for bachelor programme + 60 for the 1st year of master double degree)

Diploma thesis

Diploma thesis will be conducted under ioint supervision of two supervisors, one from each partner institution. The assignment, content and form of Diploma thesis are governed primorily by
the institution where the thesis is conducted. The thesis will be published ot UCT Prague in its entirety, including oll attochments with the possibility of postponement for o period of up to 3 years
