What are my duties before travel?
You will be contacted by The Department of International Relations with further information on the process.
- Arrange your accomodation, travel tickets and Insurance.
- Provide your personal details and confirmation of valid travel insurance.
- Financial Agreement - You will be asked to come to our offices to sign this document. Your scholarship will be sent afterwards. Financial Agreement is issued only in Czech language. It´s conditions are shortly described below.
Conditions of the Financial Agreement:
- Student must provide Cetrtificate of Attendance (or Grade) as a confirmation of successful completion of the course no later than 14 days after return, or after it´s issue.
- Student must hand in final report including A4 poster.
- Student must arrange travel insurance (including cancellation for medical reasons)
- Student must respect and comply with study regulations of the receiving institution.
- Failure in complying with any of these conditions is considered violation of ATHENS Programme obligations. Such student will not be granted or must return scholarship in full.
- In case you are not be able to travel and participate in the course for medical or other reasons, you are obliged to return the whole scholarship to the UCT.
