Destination and content of your Traneeship is entirely up to you, your own initiative and responsibility.
Start planning your traineeship at least 3 months before the Application Deadline. It increases your chance of succesfull nomination.
1) Find yourself an istitution
You may search the list of UCT partner universities but feel free to find yourself any institution located worldwide.

When having your plan and have found institution where to go, consult how to fit your plan into your study program either at Deans's office, faculty Erasmus Coordinator or your supervisor.

2) Application only On-Line
Together with filling in the Application form you will need to submit
- your Language Certificate in the language of intended traineeship (TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge ESOL). !Students studying at UCT full time in English do NOT need to prove their language proficiency.
Missing language certificate?
In case you do not have any language certificate yet, apply for language test at Ústav Jazyků (UCT Department of Languages). Application is done via this Form.
- document Learning Agreement for Traineeship - Before the Mobility (varies by the level of your study, please see Forms). Fill in only the yellow parts. For succesful application this document must be signed by you and faculty Erasmus coordinator (see above). Other signatures will be added after a successful selection interview. Important Application deadlines see up in the Schedule Box.

3) Selection interview
Within few days after Applying you will be invited to a selection iterview. Here you will have the chance to introduce your plan for traineeship abroad.
When succesfully done and you will be selected, we will inform you and next comunication with the chosen institution is entirely up to you. There is no Nomination part as when going for studies.
